My work evolves in a research framework where I try to rephrase a relationship between human psychology and the experienced world through the artistic process. My reflections originate primarily from an imaginative study of the archetype. The archetype is an image hidden under the human consciousness, under our “individual subconscious” connected to our personal experiences. I try to place my work in a context where it can develop its own identity and inhabit the space, not only so its form can emerge, but also to create a relationship with the observers, inviting them to visit secret and intimate inner places, as if they were walking through a resurfacing “garden of the psyche”. In this way, my practical and theoretical research on material seeks to awake ancient sleeping images of the psyche. The expressive potential of my research lies in developing mindful manual skills that can transform the concept of mistake into the concept of development, respectful of a process of open imaginative exploration and aware of their own limits, considering the artistic technique as functional to the realization of the work
